Batman and Superman will be united on the big screen for the first time ever in the sequel to Man Of Steel, director Zack Snyder has confirmed.
Speaking at the Comic Con festival in San Diego Snyder also revealed he would once again be involved in the project with screenwriter David S Goyer – while Christopher Nolan is also tipped to be on board as a producer.
The news was revealed at the end of a Warner Bros panel which took place at the annual convention – with Snyder telling fans: ‘There’s been a lot of speculation about what we’re doing…it is official that we are going to make another Superman movie.”
Man Of Steel star Harry Lennix – who played General Swanwick in the blockbuster – then made the official announcement, in the form of a quote from Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns.
